The brand new 2012 Chrysler 200 sedan will be modified with Mopar parts and accessories. The Chrysler 200 Super S by Mopar will make its first appearance at the 2012 North American International Auto Show. The Super S is Mopar’s view for Chrysler 200. At first, Mopar’s modifications start with the front of the car with a large chin spoiler, satin chrome fog light trim, satin chrome grille surround and mesh in the upper and lower grilles. Moreover, the upper grille is gloss black with a recessed Chrysler wing badge. Additionally, body sides feature new side sills, satin chrome belt molding, black chrome “200” badges and gray or hyper black 18-inch “S” alloy wheels. Next, from the rear view, the new image is capped off by a new trunk lid Chrysler spoiler, satin chrome light bar and a matte black lower diffuser with attached exhaust openings. There is also added a coil-over suspension, which minimizes the center of gravity for the vehicle. Furthermore it includes a cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust.

2011 Chrysler Town & Country Review. Like its Dodge Grand Caravan cousin, the plusher and more luxurious T&C gets a new front grille, bumper and lower fascia that incorporate chrome and satin metal touches to mimic the revised 200 sedan. The rear looks all-new too, with a chromed scuff plate, re-profiled tailgate and LED taillights. The T&C also takes ideas from Subaru’s Outback of all places; the roof-rack’s cross-rails tuck into the main rails until you need them, providing both a cleaner look and less aerodynamic drag than fixed ones.
Although the silhouette hasn’t changed, these efforts are enough to trick the eyes, although the standard 16-inch wheels – and even the 17-inchers on mid- and upscale models – look too small for the vehicle’s size.
But any minivan’s raison d’etre is hauling people and their stuff in relative comfort and safety. The ’11 T&C takes ‘relative’ out of the equation. Chrysler 200 Convertible gets Lancia-fied as the Flavia Cabrio. Here in the United States, we're slowly reaping the benefits of the Chrysler-Fiat partnership. The adorable little 500 is starting to find homes across the country and much of the rest of the Chrysler lineup is about to get a healthy dose of Italian injection. Too bad, then, that we aren't exactly returning the favor to our European friends. After all, this new Lancia Flavia Cabriolet is just a Chrysler 200 Convertible with a bit of Italian frosting.
Still, the 200 Convertible is improved over the "I'll take the bus, thanks" Sebring convertible it replaces, and as it is in America, we can see it being a hot commodity among rental car companies throughout Europe. The much-improved 200 sedan will not be joining its topless Flavia kin overseas.

The redesigned 2011 Chrysler 300 took a leap forward in refinement, but the large sedan's makeover didn't come with an SRT8 variant. No worries, though, because the all-new, more powerful and damn sharp-looking
2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 is debuting today at the 2011 New York Auto Show.
There's a lot to go over on this new 300 SRT8, but we wouldn't waste a vowel before talking power. Gone is the 425-horsepower 6.1-liter Hemi V8, replaced with the the Pentastar's new 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine that first appeared in the new Challenger SRT8 392. The new V8 produces 465 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, up 40 ponies and 45 lb-ft versus the outgoing engine. What's more, that upgraded output is also more usable for 2012, as Chrysler tells us we can expect an additional 80 lb-ft of torque at 2,900 rpm, which translates into more thrust from a standstill. How much? Official estimates are 0-60 "in the high four-second range," and a quarter-mile time of fewer than 13 seconds. The transmission of choice will be the carryover five-speed automatic, though paddle shifters will join the automatic to give drivers a couple options for gear selection.

Although this cat already escaped the bag a few weeks ago when our spy photographers nabbed some clear pictures of an unmasked 2012 Chrysler 300C SRT8, we still felt giddy as we sorted through the official details. Indeed, the particulars have us looking forward to overwriting fond memories of the last-gen car—an office favorite for its antics-inspiring 425-hp, 6.1-liter Hemi V-8—with ones created behind the wheel of the even burlier new model. We’ll cut right to the meat and potatoes. As expected, the new SRT8 is packing a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine, producing an “estimated 465 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque.” If those numbers hold up, they represent increases of 40 hp and 45 lb-ft over the outgoing model. The same five-speed automatic transmission is the only gearbox, but as in the 2012 Charger STR8, paddle shifters will live behind the flat-bottomed steering wheel. The wheel, Chrysler says, manipulates a livelier rack than before. The company expects 60 mph to arrive in the high four-second range and the quarter-mile to take just under 13 seconds. Of the many hurtful similes one can hurl at a vehicle, few are more insidious than drawing design or driving parallels to the oft-maligned American sedan. Thanks to the dark days of the '70s and '80s, once proud nameplates like Imperial, Impala and Galaxie were either completely forgotten or bastardized into models with about as much personality as a tube sock. Whether you blame it on oil prices, safety standards or the popularity of disco and cocaine, there's no denying that the domestic four-door suffered a major fall from grace.
Now, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler are all fighting tooth and nail to establish their products as capable of besting metal from Japan, Germany and Korea. While that's largely translated into a fleet of mid-sized sedans with soap-bar aesthetics and front-wheel-drive architectures, the 2011 Chrysler 300 is hell-bent on continuing to buck that trend.
With its rear-wheel-drive configuration and stylish lines, the four-door strives to draw connections to the Pentastar's more successful past – to an era long before corporate take-overs and the K-car. Is it successful?
When the 300 first bowed in 2005, it brought a new-found element of menacing appeal to the full-size segment thanks to its high shoulder line, chopped roof and vertical grille. The design may have borrowed more than a few cues from the Bentley stable, but buyers were more than happy to embrace the high-dollar association. For 2011, Chrysler insists the 300 is all-new from tires to taillights, though much of that same look has held on for the new generation. The company's designers have given the big beast a more mature nose with LED-trimmed projection headlamps, touches of chrome and a more subdued grille.
From the profile view, it's difficult to discern the new-generation 300 from its predecessor, though careful examination will reveal more pronounced fender arches fore and aft, as well as new detailing behind the rear wheel. The tail of the sedan has received much more aggressive updating, with a new valance that integrates smoothly into the upper and lower portions of the 300's posterior, allowing for muscular-looking exhaust outlets – even on our V6 tester. The LED taillights are both bright and beautiful at night, and although we don't mind the chrome detailing on the lamps themselves, the shiny trim along the trunk sill is a bit much.

It has yet to make its debut at next week’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit, but Chrysler has released pricing for its heavily revised 300 sedan.
The Chrysler 300 will arrive later this year with a sticker price of just $27,995, including $825 in destination. The base 300 comes with a 292 horsepower 3.6L V6, cloth seats and 17-inch wheels.
Buyers wanting a little more luxury can step up the the Limited trim level. Carrying a base price of $31,995, the Limited adds leather, heat seats, Uconnect voice command and 18-inch wheels.
While we wait for the fire-breathing SRT8 model, the 300C will stand as the line’s top offering, commanding a price of $38,995. The 300C adds a 5.7L V8, heated steering wheel, power adjustable pedals, power folding mirrors and LED interior lighting. An all-wheel drive version of the 300C will also be available for $41,145.
Although we have yet to see the 300 in the flesh, it’s clear a myriad of major changes are in store. A sophisticated dashboard-mounted UConnect Touch infotainment system is set to take on Ford’s MyTouch by offering numerous convenience and connectivity features. Chrysler says that the 8.4-inch screen – just over an inch smaller than an Apple iPad – is the largest standard screen in the segment.

Like its Dodge Charger platform mate, the new 300 features a very thorough facelift, leaving elements of the current design somewhat intact. The interior is clearly vastly improved, addressing what was often the biggest complaint with the vehicle.
A new front end looks like it will tone down the Bentley influences in favor of something a bit more chiseled and modern, and clearly has familial ties with its little brother Chrysler 200 sedan.

It's been endlessly teased and occasionally spied, and now it's official: the 2011 Chrysler 300 has arrived ahead of its world debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month.
As we've seen before, the exterior of the 300 is even more audacious than its predecessor, thanks to the liberal application of chrome below the headlamps, on the grille, coating the side mirrors and partially framing the tail lights and trunk. New LEDs are fitted up front, and while Chrysler hasn't released interior shots just yet, judging by what we've already spied and recently sampled in the automaker's latest offerings, the insides should be significantly improved.
Power will come from the same engines we've been familiarizing ourselves with over the last year, specifically Chrysler's new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter V8, with power sent to either the rear wheels or all four depending on spec. Sales should begin in the first quarter of 2011, and expect pricing to hit closer to the 300's debut in Detroit.
The Chrysler 300 debuted in 2004 to much acclaim. Designed to present a robust luxurious package, the 300 is outfitted with rear-wheel drive and a V6 engine, making it more powerful and versatile than most of its American luxury contemporaries. Different series of the 300 include the Touring, Heritage Edition, Limited, SRT, SRT-8, and of course, the 300C. Chrysler’s goal with the 300 is to offer various demographics different options to choose from in order to cover a wider range of the driving population than its current competition. This is a mission in which Chrysler has undoubtedly succeeded.
Where the Chrysler 300 stands out from most luxury models is in its base package. The 300 includes 17 inch wheels, four wheel disc brakes, a four-speed automatic transmission, and a EER V6 that dishes out 180 HP. The Touring and Heritage models both use a 3.5L V8 that demonstrates up to 250 horsepower. The 300C is where Chrysler really turns up the heat. The 300C employs a 5.7 liter HEMI V8 which can punch out up to 340 HP on a 5-speed automatic transmission. The 300C can also run on just four cylinders in order to conserve power and increase fuel efficiency, displaying just the kind of sporty versatility Chrysler had in mind from the beginning. The SRT-8 pushes the envelope even further, showcasing a 6.1 liter V8 HEMI responsible for 450 HP. The added input of the HEMI is perhaps what has set the bar so high for the 300 series. With air being regulated more easily through the HEMI induction tube, not only do drivers of the 300 get more fuel economy but they can also do so without sacrificing power, something American audiences always find appealing.

The look of the Chrysler 300 is equally as important as its performance. The 300C sports 18 inch chrome alloy wheels while the Heritage and SRT take it up a notch with other trim options. Both the SRT and SRT-8 feature 20 inch aluminum forged wheels, badges, and signature seats and headrests. The SRT-8 takes a step up thanks to a rear lip spoiler. The Chrysler 300 Heritage Edition includes chrome accents, badges, 18 inch wheels, modified headrests with the model name stitched in, and SmartBeam headlights. It is because of these exterior and interior elements why the 300 is viewed as one of the most fashionably packaged luxury cars on the market, as motorists of all backgrounds can choose a trim level that best suits their respective tastes.
The Chrysler 300 has enjoyed steady sales number since its inception, primarily because of its otherwise modest price tag. Although branded as a luxury vehicle, the 300 is consistently priced significantly lower than most other entrants in this segment due to its domestic manufacturing. This gives the model a clear advantage over many upscale imports when it comes to marketing, as Chrysler has managed to accentuate the luxurious and comforting features of the 300 in its ads while simultaneously heralding its affordability. And the Chrysler 300 is not without its awards. It was the 2005 Motor Trend Car of the Year and has been named numerous times one of Car & Driver’s Ten Best List. Even with all the accolades, this car is not stuck in the past.
